Concept 2 BikeErg

The Concept 2 BikeErg is the latest addition to our family of sport-based ergometers. The BikeErg has the same flywheel and Performance Monitor as Concept 2 Indoor Rowers and SkiErgs, bringing to cycling the strengths and features we've previously brought to rowing and cross-country skiing.

CONCEPT 2 BIKEERG

Concept 2 set the stage for indoor rowing years ago and has added several new additions including skiing and the newest called BikeErg. Cycling has been a pivotal part of my health and overall conditioning and wanted to give the BikeErg a nice demo from my favorite CrossFit Gym (CrossFit Conjugate) in Cincinnati to see what it had as compared to other home trainers (Cycleops PT, Peloton). This bike is built incredibly solid with a 58-pound frame forged from aluminum that is durable that's been tested for Home and Commercial use. The resistance is not only consistent but smooth in all 360 degrees of peddling. As with all Concept 2 models, the PM5 monitors calibrate and connect wirelessly thru Ant+ or Bluetooth with any heart rate straps, devices or Fitness Apps. The BikeErg is easily adjusted to any and all seat height and handlebar sizes for fore/aft sizes. As for the price, it's reasonable at around $990 and you will get tens of thousands of miles out of this bike with lasting performance, no and durability. The PM5 with Bluetooth and Ant+ technology connection with all your maintenance Fitness devices and synchronizes with the third-party fitness apps which include the Zwift and a few others. While there are no chains in the flywheel will give you full control to add or decrease air resistance (Tightens the belt) just as if you were changing gears in a bike without chain maintenance or mess. The belt from the BikeErg is comprised of a high strength polygroove material that will last tens of thousands of miles with minimal to no maintenance. Overall, the Concept 2 BikeErg is a quality made, dependable, high performance and long-lasting Fitness bike that is reasonably price.
